It is gray all over, with a paler gray breast, a darker gray folded wing, a bare white face patch round a dark eye and a solid dark hooked bill. Two dark feet grip the perch and the short, square red tail hangs straight down below it. A dark brown outline runs round every part. Full crosses only. It is 27 by 46 stitches and uses seven thread colors.
