About this pattern

An avocado pit sprouting in a glass of water. The brown pit rests in the mouth of the glass on two toothpicks, and three white roots reach down into the pale blue water. A thin green shoot rises from the top of the pit and carries three green leaves: one upright at the tip and one out to each side, the right one higher than the left. The glass is drawn from the front, clear above the water line. Dark brown outline; the toothpicks and the roots have none. Full crosses only. It is 31 by 61 stitches and uses eight thread colors.
