The first Stars and Stripes, the thirteen-star American flag known as the Betsy Ross flag and often called the 1776 flag, seen flat and square-on. It has thirteen level stripes of equal depth, seven red and six white, with red at the top and the bottom, and a navy blue field in the upper left corner that is seven stripes deep. On the blue, thirteen white stars stand evenly spaced in one ring, with one star at the very top and the middle of the ring left empty; at this size each star is simplified to a small plus of five stitches. A thin dark brown outline runs round the flag.
64 stitches wide by 41 high: 2,624 full cross stitches in 4 DMC colors (Red 321, Winter White 3865, Navy Blue 336 and 1 more).

The fabric color changes the preview only: every cross matches your chart.
Count is the number of squares to the inch: 14-count fabric has 14, and a higher count makes the same design smaller.DMC is the thread maker whose color numbers most charts use.
