A black cat sits on a window sill at night, seen from outside. The window glows pale yellow with lamplight and the cat is a solid black shape against it, its body side on and its head turned to look out, with pointed ears and two lit yellow eyes. Red curtains with darker fold lines hang at each side, tied back halfway down, and a glazing bar crosses the window near the top. The frame and the wide sill are white; the wall round them is dark blue boards, stitched to the edge. Dark brown outline on the window and curtains. Full crosses only. It is 59 by 62 stitches and uses eight thread colors.
