The classical seven-circuit labyrinth, the ancient figure also called the Cretan labyrinth, stitched in one dark red thread. The stitches are the walls and the bare cloth is the path, so a fingertip can walk it: from the mouth at the foot, one path with no fork and no dead end winds seven times round to the middle. Walls and path are both two stitches wide. It is lopsided on purpose, as the real figure is: the mouth lies left of the middle wall and the right side hangs lower than the left. Any one dark color will do in place of the garnet red. A piece for a 5 inch hoop.
62 stitches wide by 56 high: 1,445 full cross stitches in 1 DMC color (Medium Garnet 815).

The fabric color changes the preview only: every cross matches your chart.
Count is the number of squares to the inch: 14-count fabric has 14, and a higher count makes the same design smaller.DMC is the thread maker whose color numbers most charts use.
