A square labyrinth in the manner of Roman floor mosaics, stitched in one dark thread. The stitches are the walls and the bare cloth is the path: from the mouth in the bottom side a single path, with no fork and no dead end, winds back and forth through each quarter of the square in turn and ends in an open square room in the middle. Walls and path are both two stitches wide and every line is straight. The upper half mirrors left to right; the lower half does not, because the way in runs up beside the middle wall. Charted in black; any one dark color will do.
56 stitches wide by 56 high: 1,628 full cross stitches in 1 DMC color (Black 310).

The fabric color changes the preview only: every cross matches your chart.
Count is the number of squares to the inch: 14-count fabric has 14, and a higher count makes the same design smaller.DMC is the thread maker whose color numbers most charts use.
