About this pattern

A thistle wearing a gold crown. The crown has three points and a band set with five small dark purple stones, and sits flat on the wide top of the purple flower head, which narrows downward, is marked with paler streaks and has a dark purple band at its foot. Below it is a round green bulb with a darker green diamond lattice, a stout green stem with a pale line down its middle, and one jagged leaf on each side, lighter green above and darker green below, with two points on each edge. The left half mirrors the right exactly. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only.
