About this pattern

A red field poppy in full bloom, facing you, between two golden ears of wheat. The round flower has a black ring around a green middle and darker red at the top and bottom. Its green stalk bows a little and carries one leaf on the left; on the right a green bud with a sliver of red hangs from a crooked stalk of its own. The two ears stand straight on thin gold straws, one at each side, a matching pair with one awn each. All of it grows from one strip of dark green grass with six tufts. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 56 by 53 stitches and uses eight thread colors.
