About this pattern

A gilded whale weathervane on the peak of a shingled roof. The whale is a gold sperm whale facing left, with a blunt head, a dark eye and mouth line, a paler gold highlight along its back and its tail flukes raised at the right. It turns on a gray iron spindle above a cross arm with a gold knob at each end and a larger gold ball below. The roof peak is a triangle of blue-gray shingles laid like bricks. Dark brown outline, and everything but the whale mirrors left to right. Full crosses only. It is 37 by 56 stitches and uses six thread colors.

37 stitches wide by 56 high: 907 full cross stitches in 6 DMC colors (Ultra Dark Coffee Brown 938, Medium Topaz 783, Medium Antique Blue 931 and 3 more).
