About this pattern

A heraldic double-headed eagle stitched in one dark thread. Two heads with hooked bills look outward, away from each other, above one upright body. Each raised wing has five long feathers hanging straight down side by side, the legs reach out to the sides and end in three claws, and three tail feathers hang down the middle. Each eye is one square of bare cloth. There is no crown, shield or lettering. The left side mirrors the right exactly. Full crosses only. It is 49 by 43 stitches and uses one thread color.
