About this pattern

An hourglass standing on a stack of three closed books. The glass is two straight-sided cones meeting point to point between two wooden plates; gold sand fills the lower half of the upper cone, a thin stream falls through the neck and a pointed heap fills the bottom. The books are seen spine on: a thin blue one with a white label, a brown one with four gold bands and a thick red one with a white label and a gold band near each end. No lettering is shown. Everything mirrors left to right. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 39 by 60 stitches and uses eight thread colors.

39 stitches wide by 60 high: 1,156 full cross stitches in 8 DMC colors (Ultra Dark Coffee Brown 938, Red 321, Very Dark Hazelnut Brown 869 and 5 more).
