About this pattern

A luna moth seen from above with its wings open flat. The wings are pale green with a darker green shade along their lower edges, and a dusky maroon band runs along the front of both forewings and across the body like a collar. Each of the four wings has a small round maroon eyespot with a gold middle. The body is white with four pale gray bands, the two short feathery antennae are dark gold, and each hindwing is drawn out into one long thin tail that swings outward. The two sides mirror exactly. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 59 by 52 stitches and uses seven thread colors.
