The Luther rose as one round: a black cross in a red heart, the heart at the center of a white rose of five round petals, with a green leaf showing between each pair of petals. The rose lies on a blue field inside a golden ring with a dark brown outer edge. Flat colors with no shading; the left and right halves mirror exactly. Full crosses only. It is 53 by 53 stitches and uses seven thread colors.
