The Nutcracker and the Mouse King of the old Christmas tale, side by side on a green floor. The Nutcracker, on the left, stands to attention in a tall black hat, a red coat with gold trim, white trousers and black boots, with a white beard, a black mustache and a row of big teeth. The Mouse King is a round gray mouse, the shorter of the two, with big pink-lined ears, a white muzzle and belly, two small pink paws, a gold crown and a green cape with a white hem. His pink tail curls up at the right. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 56 by 53 stitches and uses nine thread colors.
