About this pattern

An old gray gravestone seen square on, standing in long green grass. Its top is a round arch with a small rounded shoulder at each side. Carved across its upper half is a white skull with two dark eyes and a row of teeth, between two outspread white wings whose feathers hang down and shorten toward the tips. Below are carved an hourglass and, at each side of it, a bone lying level. No name, date or wording is drawn. The stone has a lighter edge on the left and a darker one on the right. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 57 by 49 stitches and uses seven thread colors.
