About this pattern

A bookmark: an otter floats on its back down a strip of pale turquoise water, seen from above. It is brown with a pale peach muzzle and belly, small round ears, two dark eyes with a white glint and a dark nose. It holds an orange starfish on its chest between its two front paws, and its two hind feet and long tapering tail trail at the bottom. Three pairs of short darker ripples mark the water, which has rounded corners. The two sides mirror exactly. Dark brown outline on the otter; the water has none. Full crosses only. It is 25 by 75 stitches and uses seven thread colors.

25 stitches wide by 75 high: 1,855 full cross stitches in 7 DMC colors (Light Turquoise 598, Very Dark Hazelnut Brown 869, Light Tawny 951 and 4 more).
