About this pattern

A small mat stitched from edge to edge: two red toadstools on a strip of green grass under a dark blue night sky. The big one has a domed terracotta red cap with three cream spots, a cream stem with a ring that flares like a skirt and a wider foot; a little one with one spot stands at its right. A cream four-point star hangs in the sky above the little one. A border of gold and red blocks runs all the way round. No outline and no shading. Full crosses only. It is 45 by 39 stitches and uses five thread colors.
