About this pattern

A volcano erupting at night, worked as a little square mat stitched from edge to edge. A brown cone with a blunt top stands on a strip of green grass; gold lava lies over its rim and runs down the slope in three tongues, red fire with a gold center stands in the crater, and a cream cloud of smoke rolls up behind the flames. The sky is dark blue, and a gold border with red sawtooth points runs all the way round. Flat color with no outline and no shading, and the left side mirrors the right exactly. Full crosses only. It is 42 by 42 stitches, every square stitched, and uses six thread colors.
