About this pattern

A heart cut like a finished jigsaw puzzle into four pieces that lock together: three pieces are red and the one at the top right is gold. Two straight cuts cross near the middle, and on each cut one round knob on a short neck locks a piece into the next, going round like a pinwheel; the gold piece sends a gold knob down into the red piece below it. The outside of the heart mirrors left to right; the cuts and knobs do not. Dark brown outline and cut lines. No wording is drawn. Full crosses only. It is 51 by 49 stitches and uses three thread colors.

51 stitches wide by 49 high: 1,711 full cross stitches in 3 DMC colors (Red 321, Medium Topaz 783, Ultra Dark Coffee Brown 938).
