About this pattern

A lighthouse seen from the front, as an old sampler would work it, in flat color with no outline. The tall tower is in seven level bands, white and old rose red by turns, and widens by one stitch each side halfway down. It has three small red windows one above another, a red door at the foot, a red gallery, a lantern room with a gold light and a pointed red roof, and it stands on a stepped green hill. The left side mirrors the right exactly. The white bands need a fabric darker than white or ivory: it is drawn for natural linen. Full crosses only.

21 stitches wide by 51 high: 429 full cross stitches in 4 DMC colors (Very Dark Shell Pink 221, Winter White 3865, Dark Pine Green 3362 and 1 more).
