About this pattern

One peacock tail feather, laid straight and upright. The vane is a dark green teardrop with a paler green edge, and the eye sits near the top: a navy center inside a ring of blue and a ring of gold. A dark shaft runs down the middle from under the eye and on below the vane as a bare quill one stitch wide. A dark brown outline runs round the vane. The left side mirrors the right. Full crosses only. It is 23 by 53 stitches and uses six thread colors.
