About this pattern

A round-arched church window in stained glass, made as a short bookmark: a gold cross standing in a chequer of small square panes in two blues, every pane closed in by dark lead lines. A red border runs all the way round under the arch, and in the head of the arch a violet band curves over a pale gold half-round pane. The cross is a Latin cross in gold with a paler core. Every square inside the window is stitched, and the left half mirrors the right exactly, colors included. Full crosses only. It is 27 by 53 stitches and uses seven thread colors.

27 stitches wide by 53 high: 1,355 full cross stitches in 7 DMC colors (Ultra Dark Coffee Brown 938, Red 321, Baby Blue 3755 and 4 more).
