About this pattern

A straw sun hat with a wide oval brim and a low round crown, seen from the front and a little above. A red ribbon runs round the foot of the crown and is tied at the front in a bow with two loops and two tails that lie on the brim. Darker gold lines of weave run round the brim and the crown, and a dark brown outline runs round the hat and the bow. The left half mirrors the right exactly. Full crosses only. It is 55 by 30 stitches and uses six thread colors.
