About this pattern

An axe driven straight down into the top of a tree stump. The gray steel head stands upright in the middle of the pale cut top, widening down to a paler ground edge at the wood, and a golden wooden handle runs out level to the right from the top of the head, a little thicker at its end. Brown growth rings show on the cut top either side of the blade. The bark sides are brown with seven short upright furrows, and the stump stands on a strip of green grass. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 46 by 34 stitches and uses seven thread colors.
