About this pattern

A blue iris in full flower on a tall straight stalk, with a second, shorter shoot beside it still in bud. Three light blue petals stand up in the middle of the flower and three deeper blue petals hang down, with pale yellow flames at the heart of the flower. Narrow pointed leaves rise beside the stalks from a small green mound at the foot. The flower itself mirrors left to right. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 26 by 55 stitches and uses six thread colors.
