About this pattern

A Christmas gnome, the Scandinavian tomte or nisse, sitting on top of a wrapped present. He wears a tall red cone hat with a dark red band pulled down to his round pink nose, a white beard and a dark gray coat, and his red and white striped legs hang down the front of the box in dark red boots, one each side of the ribbon. The present is green with a wider lid and a gold ribbon crossed over its front. The left half mirrors the right exactly. A piece for a card front or a small frame. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 27 by 52 stitches and uses nine thread colors.
