A desk globe on a wooden stand. The blue ball shows North and South America in green, with Greenland at the upper right, and is held at its top and bottom in a gold half ring that curves round its left side. The ring stands on a short post on a stepped brown wooden foot, and a navy outline runs round every part. Full crosses only. It is 33 by 48 stitches and uses five thread colors.
