About this pattern

A cut emerald seen from straight above: the long eight-sided outline of the emerald cut, a rectangle with its four corners cut off. Two bands of flat facets step in to the flat table in the middle, which has the same shape, smaller. The stone is lit from the upper left: the facets along the top and left are the palest greens, those along the right and bottom the darkest, and the table is deep green with one diagonal streak of white light across it. Four greens and white inside a dark brown outline.

23 stitches wide by 29 high: 555 full cross stitches in 6 DMC colors (Hunter Green 3346, Forest Green 989, Light Yellow Green 3348 and 3 more).
