A fancy goldfish seen from the side, facing right: a fantail with a deep, egg-round body and a double tail as large as the body. The body is bright orange with a paler belly and a band of deeper orange along the back; it has a large dark eye with one white glint, a small mouth at the front, a curved gill line, a tall back fin with two rays, a small oval side fin and a small belly fin.
