About this pattern

A stag beetle seen from straight above with its head up, mirrored left to right. Two large copper jaws like antlers curve in toward each other at the top, each with one tooth on its inner edge. Behind them are a broad brown head with two small eyes, a brown thorax and long copper wing cases with one seam down the middle, a pale gold shine on each and a darker red-brown shade toward the tail. Six thin dark legs with bent knees stand out from the body, three on each side. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 29 by 48 stitches and uses five thread colors.

29 stitches wide by 48 high: 774 full cross stitches in 5 DMC colors (Copper 921, Ultra Dark Coffee Brown 938, Very Dark Hazelnut Brown 869 and 2 more).
