About this pattern

An ancient Greek helmet of the Corinthian kind, seen from the side and facing right, with nobody inside it. The bowl is bronze gold with a pale glint on the dome and darker gold shade down the front, and a crest in three reds arches over the top and hangs down behind. The face opening is bare fabric: an eye opening that runs into a slit between the narrow nose guard and the long pointed cheek piece. The lower edge arches up to a short neck guard at the back. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 39 by 42 stitches and uses seven thread colors.
