About this pattern

Two eggplants: a whole one standing at the back on the left and, in front of it on the right, one cut in half lengthwise with its cut face to the front. The cut face is white, with a pale green rim just inside the dark purple skin and ten small brown seeds set in mirrored pairs. The whole one is dark purple with a streak of lighter violet down its left side. Each has a green cap in two greens and a short upright stalk. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 29 by 42 stitches and uses eight thread colors.
