About this pattern

Just the scarecrow's head, facing you: a pale sack face with two round dark button eyes, an orange triangle patch for a nose and a smile sewn on with short stitches, under a wide brown hat with a red band and a pale yellow patch. A fringe of gold straw shows under the brim and bundles of gold and pale yellow straw stick out at both sides. Everything but the hat patch mirrors left to right. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 37 by 28 stitches and uses seven thread colors.
