A whole round pie seen from straight above: a woven lattice of golden pastry strips, each passing over and under the next, with red filling showing in every opening, inside a thick crimped crust of gold and pale straw pads. It mirrors exactly from left to right and from top to bottom. Dark brown outline round the pie and round the lattice top; the strips have none between them. Full crosses only. It is 43 by 43 stitches and uses five thread colors.
