About this pattern

A medieval sword hanging point down. At the top is a round gold pommel set with a square red jewel, then a brown grip bound with two gold bands, then a straight gold cross guard with a block at each end and a second red jewel at its middle. The long steel blade is pale gray on the left and darker gray on the right with a ridge between them, one width nearly to the end, where it steps in to a point. Dark brown outline all round, and the shape mirrors left to right. Tall and narrow. Small: 486 stitches. Full crosses only. It is 21 by 64 stitches and uses seven thread colors.
