About this pattern

A penguin standing square to you and holding up a yellow umbrella. The umbrella has a scalloped canopy, pale yellow in the middle with darker gold panels at each side, a short spike on top, a gold shaft and a crook handle that turns up at the bottom. The penguin is black with a white face, two dark eyes, a small orange bill, a round white belly and two orange feet; one flipper is wrapped round the shaft and the other is held out to the side. The umbrella is held in one flipper, so the canopy is centred on its shaft and not on the bird. No rain is drawn. Small: 659 stitches.

35 stitches wide by 42 high: 659 full cross stitches in 5 DMC colors (Black 310, Winter White 3865, Medium Topaz 783 and 2 more).
