About this pattern

A phoenix above its fire in a stitched round of night blue. Seen from the front with wings spread level, the bird has a red body with an orange breast, red leading edges on the wings, orange feathers ending in pale yellow points, and a small head in profile with a yellow hooked beak and crest. Three red tail feathers fan down, each ending in an orange and yellow flame-shaped eye. A fire of orange, yellow and white burns below, with two small yellow sparks at each side. All but the head mirrors left to right. No outline. Full crosses only. It is 51 by 51 stitches and uses five thread colors.

51 stitches wide by 51 high: 2,053 full cross stitches in 5 DMC colors (Very Dark Navy Blue 939, Dark Autumn Gold 3853, Red 321 and 2 more).
