About this pattern

A small mat stitched from edge to edge: three tulips growing from a strip of grass on a dark blue ground. A tall red tulip stands in the middle between two shorter yellow ones; each bloom is a cup with three blunt petal tips on a straight green stem, with long green leaves at the foot. A cream four-point star hangs in each upper corner, and a border of small pink and gold squares runs all the way round. The left side mirrors the right exactly. No outline and no shading. Full crosses only. It is 46 by 42 stitches and uses six thread colors.
