About this pattern

A tall red brick house seen from the front, like the house block of an old sampler, inside a red sawtooth border that looks like the edge of a postage stamp. Every course of brick is drawn, with darker red joints. The front has a blue door with a white frame and a pale fanlight, five white-framed windows in level rows, a round window in the gable, a slate-blue roof edge and one chimney at the peak. A white picket fence runs along the lawn on each side of a straw-colored path, and a red heart sits in each upper corner. No name, date or wording is drawn. A piece for a 5 inch frame.
