About this pattern

One red hibiscus flower, wide open and seen from the front. Five broad rounded red petals, parted by thin dark lines, run into a deeper red throat, and one long pale yellow stamen rises from the middle at a slant across the upper right petal, ending in a gold knob of pollen. Two pointed green leaves, each with a pale midrib, show behind the flower, one at the upper left and one at the lower right. The hibiscus is the flower of Hawaii, whose state flower is a yellow one. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 48 by 46 stitches and uses seven thread colors.
