About this pattern

A big round sun on a navy square, stitched edge to edge. The top of the sun is whole and pale yellow; below that the disc is peach, then orange, salmon pink and violet, and its lower half is cut by five level slits of navy that get wider towards the bottom. Left and right are the same, stitch for stitch. No outline. Because the ground is stitched, it works on any fabric color. Full crosses only. It is 47 by 47 stitches and uses six thread colors.
