About this pattern

A ruby-throated hummingbird sitting upright on a thin twig, facing left with its long straight bill held level. It has a green head and back, a dark eye with a white glint, a red throat, a white breast and belly, a folded gray wing along its side and a dark green tail that hangs down past the twig. The brown twig runs across the design and ends in one green leaf at the left. No feet are drawn: the belly sits on the twig. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 40 by 28 stitches and uses eight thread colors.
