About this pattern

A sandpiper standing on the beach beside an orange starfish. The bird stands side on and faces right: a brown cap, back and folded wing with four pale straw flecks, a white face, breast and belly, a dark eye, a long thin dark bill, dark wing tips and two straight dark legs with toes pointing forward. Behind its legs run a band of blue-green sea and a line of white foam; in front lies a wide stretch of straw-colored sand with a five-armed orange starfish at the lower right. Dark brown outline round the bird and the starfish; the sea and the sand have none. Full crosses only.
