About this pattern

An old fashioned sewing machine seen from its long side, stitched as a silhouette in one black thread. It has a flat bed, an arm that reaches left to the head with the needle bar and presser foot hanging from it, a rounded hand wheel at the right and a spool of thread standing on top. The machine stands on a solid band of table inside a frame two stitches thick with its four corners cut off. There is no shading: only the shapes are stitched, on any light fabric. Full crosses only. It is 54 by 38 stitches and uses one thread color.
