About this pattern

One ripe ear of bearded wheat standing straight on its stalk. The ear is a plait of golden grains in pairs with pale tips, each pair parted from the next by a dark line, and three fine bristles stand up from its top. Below the ear two green leaf blades leave the pale straw stalk, one on each side at different heights. Dark brown outline; the ear mirrors left to right. A narrow upright motif. Full crosses only. It is 19 by 49 stitches and uses five thread colors.
