About this pattern

An Easter egg standing point up, decorated in the manner of a Ukrainian pysanka: a black ground with the pattern in red, pale yellow and white. A large red eight-point star with a yellow center fills the middle, with a yellow diamond at each side and four small white crosses round it. Above are a red cap with a yellow line, five yellow crosses and three red triangles on a white line; below it, three red triangles hang from a white line. The left half mirrors the right exactly. The egg has no outline and is stitched solid. Full crosses only. It is 33 by 45 stitches and uses four thread colors.

33 stitches wide by 45 high: 1,167 full cross stitches in 4 DMC colors (Black 310, Red 321, Pale Yellow 744 and 1 more).
