About this pattern

A whole head of broccoli standing upright. The crown is broad and low, a heap of small dark green beads with five bumps along its top, a short lighter green highlight on each bead and darker creases between them. Under it the pale green stalk spreads like a fan to meet the crown, with two fine lines that run down it and meet in a V, then narrows to a thick stalk cut straight across; the right side of the stalk is a darker green, in shade. The outline mirrors left to right. Dark brown outline. Full crosses only. It is 41 by 32 stitches and uses five thread colors.
