About this pattern

A Christmas tree left as bare unstitched fabric inside a solid red panel, in the manner of Assisi work. The tree has three tiers, a five-point star on top and a short trunk, and three round red baubles show through it, one above two. A black line one stitch wide runs round the tree, round each bauble and round the panel. Only the red ground and the black line are stitched, so the tree is the color of the fabric. The left side mirrors the right. Full crosses only. It is 32 by 40 stitches and uses two thread colors.

32 stitches wide by 40 high: 1,004 full cross stitches in 2 DMC colors (Red 321, Black 310).
