About this pattern

A baby sea turtle seen from straight above, crawling up a sandy beach to the sea. The hatchling is in the middle of the sand with its head toward the water: a dark green shell tiled with pale seams inside a pale rim, a big head with two dark eyes, two long front flippers held out to the sides, two short hind flippers and a small pointed tail. Behind it two rows of short gold dashes mark its flipper tracks. Across the top are a band of turquoise sea with two white streaks and a scalloped edge of white foam.

37 stitches wide by 53 high: 1,961 full cross stitches in 8 DMC colors (Light Straw 3822, Turquoise 597, Forest Green 989 and 5 more).
