A night scene stitched all over: a small black wooden church under a green ribbon of northern lights, the aurora borealis. The church stands on the snow with a square tower at the left, a dark gray spire topped by a white cross, a white-framed door and one lit window in the tower, and a long nave with a dark gray roof and three lit windows in a row. The windows glow pale yellow inside white frames. Behind it stand three blue mountains with white snow caps, the one on the left cut by the edge of the picture.
